(just copy and paste it into your messages and type in your name if you agree) RULES: 1)To join you must agree to the rules 2)If you disregard the rules, or if you do one of the 4 intolerable acts (listed in the regulations section); Then (after the 'three strike system' has taken affect and you have been proved guilty) you will be booted out of the club, and BANNED 3)You must post journals in our club blog (see 'blog topics' <bottom> for acceptable topics)(if you submit more than 1 blog a month; then it will be counted for next month. i.e- if you submit 12 blogs in 1 month; you are done the submitting deviations requirement for the entire year!) 4) And submit art to this club if you wish to stay a member. (if you submit more than 1 deviation a month; then it will be counted for next month. i.e- if you submit 12 deviations in 1 month; you are done the submitting deviations requirement for the entire year!) -PLESAE DO NOT RESUBMIT ART THAT YOU HAVE ALREADY SUBMITTED TO THE GROUP! (DOING THIS IS NOT COMPLETING YOUR MONTHLY TASKS!) 5)You must do each of these activities (the previous 2) at least once a month to stay a member of our club (UNLESS: you win a club contest, finish all of your duties for a year/the next month, or continuously submit for 3 months. Then you are excused from these duties). 6)Members of this club must treat other members with respect REGULATIONS/RESTRICTIONS: No inappropriate behavior such as: (PLEASE NOTE: THESE RULES ARE NOT CHANGING!) 1)explicit drawings(NO n*dity, excessive blood and gore, suggestive themes, overly exposed women/men, or anything of that sorts) 2)bad language anything worse then cr*p, in cluding cr*p. you may use substitute words like crud, or frick; and you may also use abbreviations such as lmao or lmfao or omfg; without breaking the rule. You make also ** out some of the letters (2 OR MORE PLZ) such as: s**t or cr**. $%^& is also acceptable, as long as you DO NOT USE THE WORD ITSELF. 3)being just plain rude 4) art theft (THE THREE STRIKE SYSTEM WILL NOT TAKE AFFECT FOR THIS) This behavior will not be tolerated (see three strike system), and the member/person-who-wants-to-be-a-member will be deleted/denied and BANNED  =  AND ADMINS HAVE TO DO A LITTLE EXTRA: 1)Admins must help maintain the club, -(Help make sure we keep getting visitors and members and make sure no rules are violated) 2)and admins must help some of our inexperienced members. -(To do this just post tutorials and post some helpful hints and tips in the comment box from time to time. OR you could blog about the way you draw, so other members can draw this way, too.) 3) admins must attend a weekly meeting in the club chat room from 7:45pm-8:00pm (EST) on FRIDAYS -(at least once a month; starting 3/8/10) THE 'THREE STRIKE' SYSTEM: - Every time you violate the rules; you get a 'strike' after three of these strikes; you will be kicked out and BANNED. -Your strikes will be reset every month. -This system does NOT affect the zero-tolerance policy for: .-monthly duties .-art theft MEMBER OF THE MONTH: -The member of the month is the member who submitted the most deviants the previous month. -their art work will be put in the 'FEATURED' folder of our gallery for the following month. -The member of the month may NOT be member of the month for 2 months or more in a row; but may be member of the month multiple times in the year. CONTESTS: SCORING: 20 points: creativity 30 points: Theme related 25 points: background 25 points: originality -THE POINTS ABOVE GO INTO THE STUDENT’S “CLUB-POINTS” PRIZE(S): -The 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place winners are excused from their monthly member duties for the following month. JUDGES: ~3moBunni BLOG TOPICS: Here are some acceptable topics: -inking -comparing tools (such as software or pencil types, etc) -comparing artists (not any members of our club, professionals only) -how to draw________ (make sure it's 'clean') -how to write story lines -how to plan dialogue -character personality types -compare anime shows -compare manga series -compare manga to anime -shading -computer software (how to work it when trying to create manga/anime) -computer tones -proportions -chibis -emotions (as shown on a characters face) -clothing for your character (must be 'clean') -anthros -animation (how to animate your drawings) -emoticons (how to make them) -recommend tools (software, books, paper, pencils, pens, etc.) -recommend authors (of how-to-draw books, give reasons why recommended) -recommended authors of (manga series, give reasons why recommended) -anime songs (vocaloid, theme songs, etc.) -anime shows (write about the show) -manga series (write about the series) -classes -news/updates about the club -weekly news -polls -complains/suggestions IMPORTANT: IF YOU WANT TO WRITE ABOUT SOMETHING OTHER THAN THE TOPICS ABOVE, PLEASE CONTACT AN ADMIN AND ASK THEM FIRST! OUR GOAL AND DREAM: We strive to create a safe and supportive community for expert manga artists, beginning manga artists, and every manga artist in between.
