Review -Brave Story-

Hi There!!!

So, I'm back with this month's entry... well, I know it's a little late, please forgive me...

So this month's review is going to be; Brave Story

Is the story of a young boy named Wataru who starts a journey to a fantastic World call 'Vision' in order to change his situation and prevent a his family from dissolving (and I'll stop there in order not to give away spoilers)

The story was serialized in newspapers and then recompiled in two novels. It was also adapted in several formats;

A manga; written by Miyuki Miyabe and illustrated by Yōichirō Ono (Published by Shinchousha)

Three Games: Brave Story: New Traveler (For Playstation Portable), Brave Story: My Dreams and Wishes (For Nintendo DS) and Brave Story: Wataru's Adventure (For Playstation 2)

There's was also a movie adaptation (my first encounter with this story) that was quite lovely... Though the story was changed a little, and in some parts soften, it was still very nice...
It was produced by Gonzo and directed by Koichi Chigira. It was released by 2006.
The music was composed by Juno Reactor and the movie ending was "Ketsui no Asa ni" ("The Morning with Determination") by Aqua Timez (Which I really recommend).

It's a lovely movie, there are some parts that I think would be better understood if the games/manga/novel were played/read before, but it can perfectly stand on it's own.
